I set up a Facebook account, and now have one friend (cue sound of very tiny violin). I think I'm not a Facebook/MySpace kinda gal. My preference is always for face-to-face (if I absolutely have to talk with others), and I find social networking sites just a little too exhibitionist for my taste. Do I want to know that much about you, stranger? Do I want you, stranger, to know that much about me?! I think that showing one's self to all and sundry is a "reality tv" phenomenon which appeals to a broad spectrum of people. I'm just a secretive weirdo who'd prefer to hatch her plans for world dominance and the subjugation of you humans away from prying eyes. Have I said too much?
